Concrete Calculator
Multiply length by width by thickness to get the volume of a slab, then convert to cubic yards for a ready-mix order or to bags for a small job.

The math behind it: Concrete Calculator
cubic yards = length (ft) x width (ft) x thickness (in) / 12 / 27
An 80 lb bag of premixed concrete makes about 0.6 cubic feet and a 60 lb bag about 0.45. Add 5% to 10% for spillage and uneven ground; running short mid-pour is far worse than having a little left over.
